I have decided that I should make this journal "Friends Only". So please leave a comment if you want to be my friend!

I'm going to do it.
Following the announcement that the President of the college will be stepping down at the end of the semester, I'd like to take this time...

To officially announce my candidacy as President of the College of Santa Fe.

I and my anticipated running mate Adam will make far better Presidents. That and it would support the La Sallian Philosophy of students, teachers, and administrators being on the same level. The attention that the school would get from the national media at that point would guaranty higher admissions. All it takes is a little more shmoozing with the Board of Trustees. I may not start the campaign full-assed, but I'll start quarter-assed and work my way up with each glimmer of success on the horizon. So wish me luck.

To quote what one of my teachers told me today:
"You could do a lot of damage as President."

"What's an M.B.A.?"
"What does net and gross mean?"
"I can't read that whole contract!"
With artists like these, no wonder their managers are skimming money.

So it kinda sucks that in the midst of our psuedo-fight, she became such a huge cokehead. I guess we can't really be friends again...I'm just not comfortable having friends with terrible willpower. Not to mention how self-centered she is. FUCK! I hope nothing bad happens to her though.

At the show tonight, the one new teacher in the department who's been very rude to me smeeeeeeelled of pot. He should be more careful, but I can't sell someone out for smoking pot, even if they are a dickbag. Maybe if I catch him smoking in his office. The other new teacher for the department brought an escort...who I'm pretty sure WAS an escort. She was gigantic, like Adele-sized+, and they drank whiskey in his office. He's alright though...plus I think it's too funny.

The last weekend of my weekend class is imminent. I've got to write 6 more pages before tomorrow and I've got a final on Sunday. Shit shit shit. And all I can think about is my cokehead friend. It makes me want to fuck over the people who got her to try it in the first place. Fucking pusher losers. They even invaded my dreams a few nights ago (by the way, I'm dreaming again). Yeah...I think I will fuck them over. It's not like they give a shit about going to school, so getting them expelled could only benefit everyone...right? Right? Seriously...I need an opinion.

Wow...I really came across as a rat in this entry.

Now, I'm not necessarily complaining because it *has* been like 6 months since I busted out the massage table, but a massage without massage oil is like cake without icing. Can you even call it cake?! And why did you have to get a room on the third floor? Now *I* need a massage...my back is killing me!

And I'm still pissed at the audacity of Sarah Lemire who tried to charge $60 for an hour after being licensed for a month. You can get cheaper massages from professionals who've been working for 20 years. Audacious! If she weren't so damn nice I'd suggest a boycott.

It's snowing like crazy outside, which is weird because I asked for it on Valentine's Day...just like in Austin in '04.

The campus has come down with the plaque. Everyone who's anyone is sick. The casts of both Crimes of the Heart and Chicago: sick. Terrifying. I'm shutting myself in and the plaque-bearing rats out.

Didja hear tha news?? I went to the casino on Wednesday and even though I for knocked out in the poker tournament, I won it back and then some at craps! SO much fun!

And to those who criticize my poker playing as a waste: tonight I was playing online against a guy from Austin who owns the Palazio and Expose. Through my own guile, I got invited to be a VIP next time I come. That will be 2/2 as far as kickass strip club visits go.

I'm highly considering coming back to Austin this summer. If anyone can help me find a job at the Paramount, Zach Scott, or One World Theatre...please do. I'll love you forever.

News:
If all of your interpersonal relationships are based on referencing your sexuality, don't be surprised if people want to sleep with you. But also don't be surprised if people start to wonder if you have anything more to offer in your personality.

But what the fuck, right? It's the modern era and we can still be Facebook friends!

It sucks if your town is covered in ice, but it's pretty cool how much it snows here. "It's fucking flurrying outside!" doesn't sound as threatening as it could be. Global warming is weird, cuz apparently New York is getting weather in the 70s. Guess it's being heated up too much by Christiana Superstar Yow! Ha ha. Seriously...this global warming is going to kill us, if the magnets in the earth don't suck us to the ground first.

Someone tell me of a cool theatre in austin that needs a management intern! It should be an established theatre. I could spend my summer doing anything, but the side-projects I'm interested in have focused me a little bit on coming back to austin (even though it's way too hot in the summer)!

On Thursday, I got to be Grant's date to the Board of Trustees dinner. Since Grant is only 20, I was the only one drinking who was under 30. This was great because of all the free top-shelf liquor like Johnny Walker Black Label. I chatted up two old ladies for a while and talked to a nuclear physicist who was too drunk to keep from spilling what I'm sure were government secrets. About the newest energy source in development. And big fucking lasers. So that was really awesome.

This weekend was my first weekend class. Both Saturday and Sunday. But it wasn't as bad as I thought. Saturday night was a badass concert. Tonight was probably the only ASG meeting that I didn't walk away from tense. Pretty pleasurable.

Old photographs are real fucking heart-jerkers.

Even if the rest of the world were blowing up its nose, there are still some people who would disappoint me by joining everyone else.

It snowed last night. It will snow all weekend. Hopefully the symbology between the two won't run through the entire weekend.

Please Lord, don't make this a lifelong thing. I dread what might happen if this continued in the background my entire working life.

I didn't get a chance to thank everyone who was a part opf my 21st birthday. I couldn't ask to be surrounded by better friends.

BLACKOUT!
I don't remember much after a certain point, but happy 21st birthday to me! It was great...couldn't ask for a better one. Shouldn't have let all those bartenders give me Jagermeister.
Now if you'll EXCUSE me, I've got some barf to clean up...

2007 [Jan. 2., 2007|10:53 am]
I don't really like to reflect much on New Year's Day. Not anymore, at least. Sure I've noticed some ups and downs and figured some things out, but it'd be wasted time to reflect when I'm much more focused on the future. Besides the legitimate things going on, I have a plan to spend my 21st year drinking at least once each day. Not to excess, but at least a shot. If I'm successful, I get a cookie. I asked my dad if he thought this plan would make me develop alcoholism, but he doesn't think so--it's a go!

Drink of the Day (Jan 1): 1 Budweiser in the afternoon because we drank all the champagne before midnight.

Over New Year's Eve, Jon and I went to Terlingua in Big Bend to ride ATVs, put on a fireworks show for the whole town, hang out with Dr. Fun, raft down 21 miles of the Rio Grande, and camp out on the border in freezing cold weather. We also earned an interesting story involving a run-in with a cop at Gooch Cemetary. Ask me about that one.

I thought this first-line/first-journal-entry-of-the-month thing ) would be interesting. Some months I didn't start until late in the month, but these are all pretty memorable parts of my year. Good idea, whoever!

The Most Despicable Person [Dez. 20., 2006|12:48 pm]
[Aktuelle Stimmung |angry]

There is a person I know whose actions piss me off to the degree where she is The Most Despicable Person. Granted, these actions upset me differently than other people probably, but she still earns the title in my eyes.

So:
Fact 1: She just turned 18 like two months ago.
Fact 2: In the past 4 years she has had TWO abortions.
Fact 3: She is currently pregnant for the third time (barring any miscarriages she may have had)

Now those three facts alone could put her up there on anyone's list, since she's proven to be an irresponsible breeding machine (all of her pregnancies were from consentual sex).

Fact 4: During the first 2 or 3 weeks of her current pregnancy, she excessively drank alcohol on several occassions and dropped acid at least twice. (I'm aware that some girls do these things to miscarriage, but I don't think this was her intention.)
Fact 5: Because she already had two abortions, a third might render her infertile.

FACT 6: Despite the obviously high potential for retardation, she has decided to have the baby and put it up for adoption, so that she can still have the chance to procreate in the future!

Now, I have a half sister who was put up for adoption, so I feel very strongly about children in need of adoption and I support the whole adoption process as a way for people who make a mistake (1 per person MAX) can still give their child a chance to live a happy life (since the parent's circumstances may not be satisfactory). This girl is so fucking selfish to be given 3 chances at having a baby of her own and then squandering all of those CHILDREN so that she might make a FOURTH in the future. I'm not pro-life in any sense, other that if you are going to bring a child into THIS life (via birth), you had better have an appreciation of the fact that it is a HUMAN BEING! Intentionally giving birth to a child with a high risk of fetal alcohol syndome and acid damage should be a fucking crime, especially since she intends to throw it to the wolves, so to speak, and make another one. It is child abuse to the Nth degree, condemning them to a lifetime of deficient capabilities and possibly no one to love them. Does she really think that people shopping at adoption agencies will buy discounted or damaged goods (sorry to sound to crass when talking about humans, but it's HER viewpoint).

So if you get pregnant, and you can't be a parent to the child, try these simple steps:
Have a miscarraige or abortion (try not to do it too often, they make pills and prophalactics for this thing).
Put it up for adoption.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY:
DON'T think that the world owes you a baby and treat each pregnancy as if the child will be your own. DON'T FUCKING DRINK AND DROP ACID WHILE PREGNANT!!!
Or else you will end up the Most Despicable Person!

Dumb bitch...I can't believe how much MORE pissed off I got by writing this.

I've noticed recently that both conservative and liberal news sources have a new "little fun thing" that they do. It's playing a little game called "Who Doesn't Know Shit About the Middle East?" Mostly they've been entrapping politicians into admitting that they don't know the differences between Shi'ite and Suni muslims, but now they're starting to branch out into exposing the ignorance of the general populace, as if it needed to be pointed out. "What sect does Al Quaeda follow?" Is this game just a matter of taking pot shots at both parties or is actually a benefit for the public to realize its own ignorance and the ignorance of its decision makers regarding foreign policy?

In other news, politics sucks. Anarchy sucks. It's weird to have a politics program based on anti-politics. I may come home saturday night instead of friday.

What a cool day! [Dez. 1., 2006|10:29 pm]
[Aktuelle Musik |White Ghost Shivers]

Last night was cool too because I got to do some voice-over work for a cartoon. No biggie, but it was fun.

Today was a lot more fun though! Not only did I finally win a racquetball match against Ashley, but I found out I was nominated for the Who's Who Among Students Award. Apparently it is fairly prestigious if I win the award and it looks great on a resume (and I look great being in the publication). So that's neat.

Neater still was the comic hypnotist we had in the SUB tonight. NEATEST is that I got to be hypnotized. It wasn't what I expected, but it was awesome. I danced ballet and impersonated Michael Jackson and it was a great time.

However, this amazing day wouldn't have been possible without my very special lunch ). Thanks Phil, for the inspirado.

Follow Up [Nov. 30., 2006|12:00 am]
It's still snowing. It's been snowing all day. Even though it's 11 now, it still looks almost daylight outside because of the snowglare. Beautiful. It's predicted to keep snowing through the night and the high tomorrow is 22 (low 8) so I expect a lot more pretty for the rest of the week. Adam is plotting a snowball attack tomorrow and lewd snowmen. God save.
